i wont be making the fries and spinach like in the recipe but i’ll be making some mashed potatoes and pasta, since my dad insisted that this be a must to every occasion lol. what pasta would you recommend that will go great with that main course? :) any recipes? maybe something light? like not with lots of sauce bcause the steak will be the star ;]

    An alfredo sauce can you add steamed broccoli to just go on fettuccine use whatever pasta shape you add steamed broccoli to that and get some vegetable into.
    An alfredo sauce on fettuccine use whatever pasta along with an alfredo sauce doesnt have to that and get some vegetable into the mashed potatoes but if thats what dad wants then thats what dad gets id probably go with an alfredo.

    You’re going to have mashed potatoes AND pasta? That’s a lot of carbs and I hope you’ll be doing some other vegetables instead of the spinach. You want to keep the pasta really simple so probably large egg noodles or bowties with just a little olive oil or butter, salt & pepper.

    If you are making spuds the you shouldn’t have pasta…. You shouldn’t have two starches at the same meal. make a salad and then choose one of the starches
