I was at a cook out and they had a local Hawaiian dish that had like a beef steak, onion, cilantro, and like a lemon or lime juice in it. It was served cold, almost looked like a salsa, and was hot(spicy) like a salsa. I don’t know the name and have looked everywhere online to try and find the recipe. Help please??

Go to youtube.com on expert village recipes and cuisine. God bless.
The closest thing that looks like salsa is lomi salmon perhaps you went to potluck where someone brought their own special recipe but it was not hawaiian.
