   I use tenderized round steak…I like it better than cube steak, but you could also do this w/ cubed steak. I just dip it in milk and then in some flour mixed w/ seasoning salt and pepper. I fry on both sides till all pinkness in middle is gone. We just had it Sunday as a matter of fact!

   CUBE STEAK HAYSTACKS

   1 pkg. hash brown potatoes
   2 tbsp. shortening
   6 beef cube steaks
   1/2 tsp. salt
   2 tsp. catsup
   Shredded Cheddar cheese

   Prepare hash browns as directed on package; set aside. Melt shortening in large skillet. Cook cube steaks over medium heat 3-5 minutes on each side or until brown. Remove skillet from heat.
   Season steaks with salt. Spread each steak with catsup; top each steak with 1/2 cup of hash browns and 1-2 tablespoons cheese. Return skillet to heat. Cover and cook over low heat 2-3 minutes or until cheese is melted.

   1 lb. cube steak
   1 onion
   1 green pepper
   2 tbsp. oil
   1 c. spaghetti sauce

   Slice cube steak into strips. Cut onion and pepper into strips. Saute all 3 in oil. Stir in spaghetti sauce and cover and simmer 10 minutes. Serve over egg noodles.

   CUBED STEAKS ORIENTAL

   1 tbsp. butter
   4 beef cubed steaks (about 4 oz. each)
   Salt
   Pepper
   2 pkgs. (10 oz. each) frozen Chinese-style vegetables with sauce
   1 jar (2 1/2 oz.) sliced mushrooms, drained
   1/4 c. water
   1 tsp. dry mustard
   1/4 tsp. ground ginger
   1 pkg. (6 oz.) frozen pea pods, partially thawed

   1. Melt butter in large skillet. Sprinkle cubed steaks with salt and pepper. Cook steaks in butter over medium-high heat about 2 minutes on each side.
   2. Stir in remaining ingredients except pea pods. Heat to boiling; reduce heat and cover. Simmer 3 to 4 minutes.

   3. Add pea pods; cover. Simmer 3 to 4 minutes. Serve with chow mein noodles.

   TIP: Pea pods are easily thawed by placing in strainer and running under cold water.

   My drippings in and paprika th paprika gives it nice golden brown them over mashed potatoes and let the way do my fried chicken mix up again drain them over medium heat.
