I have a recipe that’s actually for lamb stew, but before you say “no way can shoulder replace lamb” look at theh ingredients list:

carrots
turnips
leeks
beef broth
onions

first, is it appropriate to stew shoulder steak? second, can I make this stew with it? third, if not, what can I make with it?

Does anyone have an easy recipe that doesn’t require a lot of herbs and spices. I only have some pepper, salt, steak rub, powdered ranch, and chicken rub.
